WHEN TO RIDE
Mid-March through May is rainy & cool weather but the waterfalls are flowing and the flowers bloom along the trails. October is the prettiest month — long shadows, color, and tacky dirt. June, July and August are rideable, but the humidity is real; ride early mornings. November, December and January are quiet, technical, and rewarding if you prepare for the chill.
