Lodge Capacity and Policy:
Ideal occupancy is 8 guests; a maximum of 12 adults and children combined is permitted, strictly enforced.
Guided UTV Ride, Fire Pit:
Complimentary UTV ride for up to 12 guests. No refund if the UTV is undergoing maintenance or if weather conditions deem trails unsafe. Tips for the guide are appreciated. Any additional services provided by the onsite caretaker should be compensated accordingly.
The first round of firewood comes with your stay. For every additional load of firewood, just ask Nate, our friendly, on-site caretaker, to deliver another load and pay him $25 directly, upon each delivery, via cash, venmo or cash app for each load.
Cleaning Policy:
No cleaning fee is charged; guests are responsible for general trash pickup, straightening/cleanup and dishwashing before departure, but nothing is required for the bedding, leave that to us.
What is adequate Attire:
Guests are advised to come prepared with appropriate attire for a cool cave experience. Even though it might be warm outside, it's still a year-round 65 degrees which is the highest temp it is safe to heat it up to, sooo...if you'll bring sweatshirts, hoodies, ugg boots type attire to wear while you're inside, you'll enjoy your experience much more! Note that the bedrooms have additional heaters in them and they can be as toasty as you'd like.
Swimsuits if you want to enjoy the spring-fed pond during the summer months and hiking boots for our steep and rugged trails are a couple more suggestions.
Weddings & Events:
Prior approval and payment of a $3,000 venue fee, plus a 3-night reservation, are required for events with up to 75 guests. Note that still only up to 12 can stay at the lodge; the “up to 75” is for the event attendance only. For half-day events such as meetings, reunions, etc., a 2-night reservation and a venue fee of $1,500 is required
If you need additional overnight accommodations for guests you can google places to stay near Jasper or Parthenon Arkansas. Also, here's a few of my favorites: check out https://www.1929hotelseville.com/

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
A full refund will be given up to 30 days before your stay, or, you may change your dates as many times as you need to so long as the request is 30 days before your stay and for up to 1 year from your original booking date. No refund given within 30 days of your stay.
We pride ourselves on using all natural cleaning products to maintain the cleanliness of the cave and providing a peaceful, relaxing stay for our guests. Because you are in the middle of the wilderness and we humans are in their territory, we do have an occasional concern with pest, which include: cave crickets, centipedes, spiders, mice, etc. We do our very best to eliminate these in a safe and natural way without using pesticides and chemicals. It is part of the experience of staying in a natural, living cave. When you create a reservation with us, you understand this possibility and accept it.
Note: PayPal retains a portion of the refund after 180 days, we no longer accept PayPal but if you've used this in the past to pay for your reservation, please be advised.
Acts of God Clause:
In the event of circumstances preventing safe guest arrival (e.g., natural disasters), guests may receive a full refund or reschedule their reservation. Guests are responsible for verifying road conditions and rainfall levels levels before arrival, as alternative housing is not provided. Note: you will be texting with Nate, our on-site caretaker during the week of your stay to confirm rainfall/water levels for the low-water bridge crossing and weather or road conditions.
Confirmation:
These are the Cave Booking and Guest Policies, which by making a reservation at The Beckham Creek Cave Lodge, you agree to for your entire group and full stay. Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation, and a welcome letter with instructions and directions. Please ensure all in your party have a copy.
Crossing the low-water bridge:
During rainy season, you'll be crossing a low-water bridge across the Little Buffalo River. Most vehicles do fine crossing it, however, if you have access to bring/rent an SUV, truck, etc., it would be best. You'll be communicating with Nate, our on-site caretaker, the week of your stay to ensure we haven't had flooding which would affect your ability to cross. In the event of flooding, you'll be given a full-refund but we will not also provide you with an alternative place to stay.
Beware:
Please beware that we are in the middle of the wilderness where you have to think about poison ivy, ticks, unseen chiggers, snakes, etc.
Please ensure everyone, especially children, know to watch their heads on the stalactites or the dangers of falling. Please, please, please, do not climb, or allow your children to climb, on our waterfall. It is NOT a playground and they need to be instructed to respect the delicate ecosystem because we do not use chemicals to sterilize this water - it is all natural, spring-fed, coming from deep within the cave and is what flows out under the floor and into the holding pool beside the drive-way, down the waterfall to the spring-fed pond.
Please refrain the children from throwing the pebbles from our water drainage catchment areas in the lodge, it makes it a slip hazard for everyone and a cleanup nightmare!
